KIMMO KAIVANTO FOUNDATION<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Kimmo Kaivanto (1932\u20132012) was one of the most significant Finnish visual artists of his generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Foundation\u2019s purpose is to promote awareness of Kimmo Kaivanto\u2019s artistic legacy, to support research on his work, and to foster Finnish visual art culture more broadly. The Foundation was established in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Foundation\u2019s core capital consists of a collection of Kimmo Kaivanto\u2019s paintings, graphic works, and sculptures. In addition, the Foundation owns the artist\u2019s sketches, photographs, an archive documenting his artistic activities, as well as his summer studio on Arkkusaari in Lake Tarjanne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
